Smart State update - 20th December 2004
The public consultation process to help inform the development of the next stage of the Smart State Strategy closed on 30 November 2004. More than 420 submissions have been received so far, with 174 Queenslanders contributing their views via the online survey, 166 via email and 84 via written submissions. There have also been a number of events and activities to encourage people to have their say about the Smart State’s future. To find out more about the events and consultation process visit www.smartstate.qld.gov.au.
The Queensland Government will draw on the results of the public consultation, submission process and events to inform development of the next stage of the Smart State Strategy for public release in late March 2005.
Smart stories
A new edition of Catalyst Queensland has just been released, showcasing more smart inventions and innovations. This edition includes articles about:
